Meet Joe Cilia, the Founder of Global Cafe, a 25-year-in-operations business focused around food & beverage, nutrition, and wellness in Vietnam. People who have met Joe usually think that Joe prioritizes his business over many other things in life. Joe also believes that Global Cafe is his life, but little did we know, that there’s always more.
Joe was born to his Italian parents and raised in Australia, surrounded by his mom’s hearty homemade meals. It was thanks to those early years that shaped his conviction in the importance of a nutritious diet, particularly in the growing-up years, in establishing a foundation for a healthy life.

Growing from that belief, Global Cafe was founded and has evolved beyond a mere business; it embodies a commitment to ‘Eat Well, Live Well.’ Originating as a catering service for the first international schools like ISHCMC and RMIT University Vietnam, after more than 25 years of operating we have become an expert in nutrition and well-being across Vietnam.
Our story aligns with the aspirations of parents seeking the best for their children, reflected in the choice of premium education. Acknowledging the weight of responsibility entrusted to us, we oversee the nutritional needs of young minds-from those taking their first steps into education to almost-ready-to-conquer-the-world teenagers. This commitment, forged in our early days, remains unwavering.
